Most people know that excessive use of table salt isn’t good for us. I feel it’s safe to say that the primary knowledge is that it’s not good for the heart. But, there’s mote.
If you use a lot of salt and other products containing sodium, and if you have the following health issues then you really need to lower your intake of sodium, especially table salt:
- arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
- angina pectoris
- construction of pupils
- poor memory
Sources of Sodium
- table salt
- bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
- sodium salicylate
Organs Where Settles & Is Eliminated
Sodium settles in the circulatory area of the body. As you can guess this means anything that has anything to do with our hearts.
Sodium is eliminated through the skin and mucus membranes
It is used for saline cathartic, stomach acidity and rheumatism.
